The food, the service and the atmosphere were very, very good! Everything, including french fries and sauces and mayonnaise, seemed to be freshly made in the house, or at least no 0-8-15 sauces from the supermarket. Modern, varied and vegan-friendly menu! Outstanding!

We had a wonderful evening with really delicious food. And that in a Bavarian tavern, if you are a vegetarian. Celery schnitzel, wow so delicious. And the young woman who served us, Julia, is great! Funny, open, fast and it was a lot of fun. We'll be back because of the food and the great service. A new discovery for our girls' evenings!

We were there yesterday and have a.o. Eaten spare ribs - they were delicious. When we got into the restaurant it smelled very tasty of spices. The waitresses are super friendly - just as you want them to be. Thank you again for that! The furnishings are rustic-chic and typically Bavarian. Overall, we felt more than comfortable. We will be back! ??

Beer was great, so was the waiter! We were expelled from the economy for no particular reason, were able to pay and withdraw the full amount. It was sad that the owner didn't want to deal with us ... very sad

I can highly recommend this cool, but also cozy pub in the heart of Giesing. Above all, hospitality is very important here. We play in various Schafkopfa inns, including the Görreshof, and we get a good feeling of being welcome here. In addition to the great service, the food is of the usual good quality. Keep up the good work boys / girls. We'll be back tomorrow, drink a good beer and choose an excellent meal.

The prices are a bit high. But the food was perfect. Good variety, good flavor and good service. They have tables outside, and it is good located, so not many cars or noise around. They have toilets and the restaurant inside is very nice. :) I recommend it

Unfortunately the inn has lost its soul with a completely incomprehensible total “renovation”. It is no longer a Giesingen living room with a good kitchen, but an everyday place. I feel sorry for the staff, who now have to keep hearing the old guests mourning the old shop. If at least the new interior had something special ... it hasn't. Could also be the Bayernstüberl in the transit area of ​​Munich Airport. ?

Delicious food, smooth Leit and great beer! You don't need to say more! Eating out or swamping over wheat beer is both the perfect place.

Today, on my personal hit list, those were the very best Sparerips. Great ambience, very friendly staff who obviously like to do what they do. And finally there were delicious homemade apple fritters. We love to come back when in the area.

Great inn, delicious food, good beer! The interior after renovation is also an eye-catcher and was furnished with great attention to detail. We live around the corner and therefore come here often. We also come here with our friends and family who visit us. Always well filled, but you get served quickly and friendly.

Best Schnitzel in Bavaria!

One of the best Bavarian restaurants I have visited in Munich. Super good beer and even better food. We had Kaspressknödel soup as well as the asparagus cream soup for starters. The main dish was the schnitzel, which is rightly described as the best in town. The dessert was Kaiserschmarrn. This was also generous in portion size and super good. Dear Hohenwart team, keep it up. We will be back soon.

We celebrated a 30th birthday with approx. 25 people and it was simply outstanding! Easy reservation by email or phone possible. After renovation and new tenants a really nice, modern but still Bavarian ambience! Great, great service = great staff! Always attentive, friendly and fun! Food (starter, main course, dessert) and drinks were also very, very tasty and we ate almost all at the same time (25 people!). Prices absolutely fine (food & drinks)! Very child-friendly (including children's chairs) !!! It was really a great evening - thanks again to everyone involved!

Had a delicious and filling meal in their sidewalk seating. The pork schnitzel was somehow fried and crispy yet not greasy.

Very pretty, cosy restaurant and the food and service was impeccable! Our waitress Julia helped translate the menu from German to English for us and gave us great suggestions. She was very hospitable and kind and we were very pleased with our dinner!

The service is really great! We really love the food and atmosphere here. We have a great dinner time and memories. Practically recommending their ginger alcoholic drinks.

Absolute gem of a locals Wirthaus in the Munich suburbs, 100% worth the effort away from the tourist traps in the Aldstadt. Fantastic beer and food - Very Good prices & made to feel very welcome by the owner and all the staff. If your visiting Munich for a beer trp YOU MUST ADD THIS TO THE LIST TO VISIT!!

Delicious bavarian food inside Munich - Giesing. We had a Wiener Schnitzel and the Hohenwart Burger, both very tasteful. The dessert for 2 is great. Nice service crew and fast service.

Very nice “tucked away in the suburbs” local Wirtshaus. Serving Maierbrau Altomunster beer, this gem of a place is delightfully cozy and very well laid out to suit everyone from the likes of me (alone in this visit) to groups of friends and also family friendly. Staff were unobtrusive but still attentive. Great music being played in the background at a volume that was ideal if you (like I was) are alone and adds to the ambiance without being too loud for the various groups around me who were engaged in conversation. I didn’t eat here, but the food certainly looked great. Worth a visit!
